Kick-off meeting, Barcelona 29-30th October 2019
The MultiTrainMT project was successfully kicked off in Barcelona on 29th-30th October. MultiTrainMT is a transnational project whose aim is to develop a coursebook and training materials for multilingual citizens that would like to learn about Neural Machine Translation. The project spans three years and it involves the strategic participation of several European universities offering translation courses, as well as two Machine Translation providers. The meeting was organised and hosted by Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona (UAB) with the purpose of defining the project details, reviewing the costs and the risks as well as finalising the Project Communication Plan, the Quality Plan and the Dissemination Plan. The next transnational project meeting will be held in Grenoble in February 2020.
